Ingrid is deeply passionate about food and nutrition. Her approach to nutrition is one that is rooted in holistic philosophy, focusing on a whole foods diet rich in nutrient-dense foods that heal both the mind and body.
Ingrid has a special interest in nutrition’s role in mental health, gut and digestive health, food allergies, autoimmune diseases, prenatal nutrition, and weight management from a non-‘diet’ approach. Her process operates from a functional medicine perspective, identifying the genetic, environmental and lifestyle factors that influence each client’s individual health.
Since 2007, Ingrid has been providing individual nutritional counseling and is a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist, as well as a Member of the American Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics. She received her Masters of Science degree in Nutrition from Bastyr University in Kenmore, Washington. Often touted as the “Harvard of the natural medicine world,” Bastyr University is a leader in natural health and alternative medicine, offering unique, holistic-focused curriculum and coursework.
