Mindfulness on Demand (MOD) is a unique, personalized coaching program with owner Heather Shannon, LCPC.
Would you like to enjoy your life more without making difficult changes? Would you like to know yourself better than ever before? Would you like to be more effective while stressing less?
Heather guides small groups of individual clients (one-on-one) to show them how they can become gentler with themselves while gaining greater clarity and a stronger sense of presence. She has created this one-of-a-kind program to combine the convenience of virtual learning, the personalization of private coaching and the support of a peer group on the same journey. Heather will support you and help you stay accountable during your whole program.
Then, continue reading the information below and reserve your spot for this unique and life-changing program. In this 6-month experience, Heather will share what’s taken her 10 years of meditation and Buddhist practice to learn. She’ll share her approach, tips and strategies for enjoying your life more now, exactly as it is.
This opportunity is limited in that this is the lowest price we will ever be offering. If you join us now, you’ll have lifetime access including all the updates and add-ons that we make over time. If you wait, you’ll pay more for them. This program is not, however, for everyone. If you strongly relate to the following, MOD might not be the right fit.
If you think MOD might be for you, keep reading to find out what the program entails!
What does mindfulness mean? Do you have to become Buddhist? Does it really work? This module will (re)introduce you to the main concepts of mindfulness such as: acceptance, beginner’s mind, openness to experience, etc. You’ll learn about the research-based benefits of mindfulness and start developing your own mindfulness practice.
Mindfully examine your current relationship to yourself. What are your strengths and weaknesses? How can you practice radical self-acceptance? In this module, you will cultivate more self-love and compassion. Notice ways in which judgment or internal scripts might be holding you back from being your best self. Learn to stay present during painful times rather than running away or turning to compulsive behavior.
What are your current habits and routines? How are your new mindfulness practices going? In this module, we’ll look at daily routines like meditation, exercise, nutrition, sleep and media consumption and explore where you’re feeling strong, where you’re feeling stuck and where you’re ready to make some changes.
Are you in the job you love? Or the job you’re “supposed” to have according to someone else? Or just a boring old job? Let’s look at how you can make the best of the situation no matter what your situation. What is in your control today? In this module, we’ll tune in to how you feel as you go about your work day, noticing what works best for you. We’ll look at work/life balance and develop a conscious spending & earning plan to promote mindful consumption.
Relationships can be one of the most triggering areas for many of us. This is where a lot of emotional reactivity can come out. Mindfulness allows us to pause before reacting to our internal dialogue and to choose how we want to respond. In this module, we will work together to cultivate this skill. We will also look at expectations, comparing (and despairing), developing more presence and resolving conflicts.
You’ve made it to the end . . . or is it just the beginning? What’s been getting in the way of your mindfulness practices? What is working most effectively for you? In this module we’ll review and make adjustments in any areas in which you’re not feeling so confident. This is a time to troubleshoot obstacles and compile resources to support you as you continue on your spiritual journey. We will discuss and you will integrate the mindfulness principles of impermanence and accepting constant change.
